It's been rumored for months and now it's finally official. Elliott Sadler is moving to Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2013 season to run full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
Sadler will leave Richard Childress Racing after spending two years with the organization, finishing second in points in both seasons. The 37-year old from Emporia, Virginia had 4 wins in 2012 with RCR. Richard Childress Racing Vice President Mike Dillon said that Sadler took sponsor One Main Financial with him to Joe Gibbs Racing in an interview with Sirius NASCAR Radio a few months ago.
J.D. Gibbs also said that Kyle Busch will run a limited schedule in the Nationwide Series for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2013.
