Jeb Burton, 20 year old son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion Ward Burton, signed a two year contract to drive for Turner Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Burton's deal includes a full-time schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and a part-time deal in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Burton made five starts in the Camping World Truck Series for Hillman Racing in the 2012 season posting a best finish of eighth at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May. He was running third in his Camping World Truck Series debut with the laps winding down at Martinsville Speedway when Ron Hornaday and he made contact, spinning out Burton. He finished 13th.

No word on who Burton replaces at Turner Motorsports and no word on what number Burton will use.
