Kasey Kahne and Brad Sweet, who split a NASCAR Nationwide Series ride with Turner Motorsports in 2012 will switch to JR Motorsports in 2013. The two raced the No. 38 Great Clips Chevrolet under the Turner Motorsports banner.
Kahne, who is Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s teammate in the Sprint Cup Series at Hendrick Motorsports, will now race for Earnhardt in the Nationwide Series. Kahne raced 15 times with Turner Motorsports in 2012 and scored nine top 10's, three top 5's and a pole.
Sweet raced in 18 races in the No. 38 car and had two top 10's and finished 18th in the drivers standings. He just turned 27-years old on New Years Eve.
Great Clips will come over to JR Motorsports with Kahne and Sweet from Turner Motorsports. There is no announcement yet on how the races will be split between the two drivers but it will most likely be similar to the 2012 season. There also was not an announcement of what car number the two will drive.
