15 year old Kyle Benjamin will run four races for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards in the 2013 season, the team announced on Tuesday.
"I'm excited to announce our plans with Venturini Motorsports this upcoming season," Benjamin said. "They've got a great history of success with young drivers and it gives me a great opportunity to gain experience and add more seat time to my 2013 racing schedule."
Benjamin is known as one of the sports best young and up and coming talents and his progression will only advance with Venturini Motorsports. Benjamin will run his first race at Mobile International Speedway on March 9th. Benjamin will also run the races at Toledo Speedway, Winchester Speedway and the ARCA race at Iowa Speedway.
Benjamin had a wonderful 2012 season which included several victories including becoming the youngest Super Late Model Champion in the 46 year history of the New Smyrna World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing event. He also impressed by winning the ARCA CRA Super Series Winchester 400 by making a dramatic last lap pass on Ross Kenseth. However, the win was striped from Benjamin and he was disqualified from the event for a technical infraction.
In addition to his ARCA Racing Series schedule Benjamin will focus on "big" late model events in the 2013 season, including the RedBud 300, World Crown 300, Winchester 400 and Kyle Busch's Rowdy 250 at Berlin Raceway.
