Carter 2 Racing announced on their Facebook page Wednesday that Chase Austin will run nine races for the team in the ARCA Racing Series in the 2013 season. Austin is already schedule to do some races in the CARS Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Austin will bring sponsor No Fear Apparel on board the team's #97 Dodge for the nine events. The team said they are leaving open the possibility to run more ARCA races with the 23 year old Emporia, Kansas native.
Team owner Roger Carter is thrilled to have Austin on his team in the 2013 season.
"I can't be happier to have Chase & No Fear in our car. I know several other teams were vying for him but in the end he stated that it just boiled down to a comfort level," Carter said.
Austin will run the races at Mobile, Alabama on March 9th, Talladega on May 3rd, Toledo, Ohio on May 19th, Pocono Raceway on June 8th, Chicago on July 21st, Pocono on August 2nd, Iowa on September 2nd, Kentucky on September 20th, and Kansas on October 24th.
