RAB Racing with Brack Maggard has announced that 19 year old Tuscon, Arizona native Alex Bowman will run full-time in the team's #99 NASCAR Nationwide Series entry for the 2013 season. Bowman, who had four wins in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards in the 2012 season, won the Rookie of The Year honors in that series last season and is known as one of the sports best up and coming drivers.

Bowman ran four races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in the 2012 season including two races for RAB Racing. Bowman finished an impressive 15th at Phoenix in November for the organization, the best finish of his Nationwide career.

The team also announced that Chris Rice will be the crew chief of the #99 Toyota in 2013. Rice was the team's crew chief in the Camping World Truck Series in the 2012 season with driver John Wes Townley. Rice had three top ten finishes with two drivers in 2012. Prior to working at RAB Racing, Rice worked at M&L Motorsports, Jay Robinson Racing, ThorSport Racing, JTG Racing and Bill Davis Racing. He has one Nationwide win to his credit and that came at Pikes Peak International Raceway in 2003 with driver Scott Wimmer.

Sponsorship on the #99 team is expected to be announced at a later date.
