Hendrick Motorsports has announced that 17 year old Dawsonville, Georgia native Chase Elliott will run nine Camping World Truck Series and five ARCA races for the organization in 2013, starting with the April 6th truck race at Martinsville Speedway.
Elliott, who is the son of 1988 Winston Cup Champion Bill Elliott, ran the entire 2012 season in the K&N East Series finishing fourth in the standings with one victory to his name.
Elliott will run the nine truck races for Turner Motorsports, who uses Hendrick engines. The nine races Elliott will run are the April 6th race at Martinsville, the April 14th race at Rockingham Speedway, the May 31st race at Dover Downs International Raceway, the July 13th race at Iowa Speedway, the August 21st race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the September 1st race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, the September 8th race in Iowa Speedway, the October 26th race at Martinsville Speedway and the November 8th race at Phoenix International Raceway.
The five ARCA races he will run are the June 8th race at Pocono Raceway, the June 22nd race at Road America, the July 28th race at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the August 2nd race at Pocono Raceway and the September 20th race at Kentucky Speedway.
